GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
- OBJECT
Any room reservation made with L'HÔTEL DES ALPES, located at 85 Avenue de la Gare – 74130 BONNEVILLE, implies prior consultation and full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC). The Client acknowledges having all the necessary information on the hotel's website https://lhoteldesalpes.com/, which includes, in particular:
- The full contact details for the HOTEL DES ALPES
- The main and essential characteristics of the rooms,
availability dates, prices and services
additional services offered to customers.
2. RESERVATION
- The reservation becomes firm upon receipt of written confirmation (email or letter or reservation via the website) from the hotel and receipt of the deposit.
- The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation in the event of incomplete, irregular, or fraudulent payment. Only guests of legal age and with the legal capacity to enter into contracts are permitted to make a reservation.
- The client is solely responsible for choosing the services and ensuring they meet their needs; therefore, HOTEL DES ALPES cannot be held liable in this regard. It is the client's responsibility to verify the accuracy of their reservation.
- The customer can also book additional catering services (breakfast, lunch and dinner) via the website, email or telephone.
- Pursuant to Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, accommodation and catering services that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period do not allow for the exercise of the right of withdrawal provided for in Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code for distance selling contracts. The contract is therefore definitively concluded upon the customer's booking, in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in these general terms and conditions of sale.
- The hotel reserves the right to cancel or refuse any reservation from a guest with whom there is an existing dispute regarding payment for a previous reservation. Each reservation is non-transferable and cannot be assigned to a third party.
3. PRICES
The prices shown are expressed in euros (€) including all taxes (TTC).
They only include the services specifically mentioned in the booking.
Additional services (optional package for pets, breakfast, parking, tourist tax, etc.) are charged extra.
4. TOURIST TAX
The tourist tax, set by the municipality, is not included in the
prices and must be paid directly on site.
5. PAYMENT TERMS
The client pays for their stay as follows, the nature of the payments being classified as a deposit:
- up to 30% upon reservation,
- up to 40 %, 30 days before the service,
- the balance at the end of the stay or event.
The hotel reserves the right to request a credit card imprint upon arrival to guarantee payment for services consumed on the premises. The hotel accepts the following payment methods: Visa/Mastercard, cash, and bank transfers. Valid identification must be presented upon arrival.
6. CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION CONDITIONS
Cancellation of a hotel room reservation must be notified in writing (email or letter).
In case of cancellation:
- More than 30 days before arrival: the deposit already paid is fully refunded.
- Less than 30 days before arrival or no-show: 50% of the price of the reserved stay will be charged.
- Less than 2 days before arrival or no-show: the full price of the reserved stay will be charged.
In case of early departure, the full amount of the booked stay remains due.
Cancellation of a reservation for additional services
catering (breakfast, lunch and dinner) must be notified
in writing (email or letter) and remains possible for up to 8 days
7. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Rooms are available from 2 pm on the day of arrival (until 7:30 pm) and must be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure. Any late check-in or check-out may result in an additional night's charge.
8. RESPONSIBILITY
The guest is responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their companions within the hotel. The hotel accepts no responsibility for theft, loss, or damage to guests' personal belongings, except for items deposited in the hotel safe in accordance with Articles 1952 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
During their stay, guests agree to use their rented room responsibly and with due care. Smoking is prohibited within the hotel premises.
The company HÔTEL DES ALPES may ask the client to leave the hotel without any compensation being paid and to pay the full price of the reservation, in particular in the event of behavior contrary to good morals or public order, or in the event of damage, deterioration, act of vandalism occurring on his part or on the part of his employees, during the hotel stay, on any movable or immovable property, furniture, decoration or other present in the hotel.
The hotel offers Wi-Fi access. The client agrees not to use the computer resources for the purpose of reproducing, representing, making available or communicating to the public any property protected by copyright or related rights without the authorization of the rights holders and in violation of their rights.
9. ANIMALS
The HÔTEL DES ALPES can accommodate certain pets for an additional fee. However, for more information regarding these conditions, guests are advised to contact the HÔTEL DES ALPES directly. Throughout the stay, the pet remains the sole responsibility of the guest. For hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed in the dining areas.
10. FORCE MAJEURE – EMPTION
The hotel cannot be held liable for unforeseen and insurmountable events (strikes, natural disasters, technical failures, administrative decisions, etc.) that prevent the provision of services. In the event of force majeure, only the deposit paid will be refunded to the client, excluding any additional sums, unless the hotel has been able to accommodate the client in a hotel of equivalent category offering similar services, and provided that the client has been informed of this beforehand.
11. CLAIMS AND DISPUTES
The client has 8 days from their departure date from the hotel to submit, in writing, any reservations or complaints regarding the hotel's services, along with all supporting documentation, to the hotel. No complaint will be validly accepted if the client fails to comply with this procedure and deadlines.
In the event of a dispute and after appealing to management, the customer has the option of contacting a consumer mediator free of charge:

12. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The information collected is necessary for managing reservations and may be used for marketing purposes if the customer consents. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the customer has the right to access, rectify, and object to the processing of their personal data by contacting: info@lhoteldesalpes.com.
13. PRE-CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION – CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
The customer acknowledges having received, prior to making their reservation and concluding the contract, in a legible and understandable manner, these general terms and conditions and all the information listed in Article L221-5
of the Consumer Code, and in particular the following information:
1. The essential characteristics of the services,
2. The price of services and related charges,
3. The date on which, or the period within which, the professional undertakes to deliver the goods or provide the service,
4. Information relating to his/her identity, postal, telephone and electronic contact details, termination procedures, dispute resolution methods, and other contractual conditions.,
5. Information relating to legal and contractual guarantees and their implementation procedures,
6° The possibility of resorting to a consumer mediator; ;
7° When the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised pursuant to Article L. 221-28, the information that the consumer does not benefit from this right.
